Visitors guide/ local directory

The Chamber has been working diligently to develop a local directory and is in the process of presenting it to the community.  By the end of April, the finished product will be available to everyone.  If you don't have one, please contact Melinda @ (830) 879-2326 or via Facebook or the Website.  The other items that the Chamber has been working on are the details on the "Scholarship Night Gala."  which is scheduled for November 9, 2018. We will provide more information in regards to this event as soon as the Scholarship committee ties all the loose ends.  We are also preparing for the Annual Banquet which is in October 2018 and you will all get more information soon.

April 2018 Business of the Month

Our Business of the Month is Dilley Feed and Grain.  A big "shout out" to Jason Surles who has also been very instrumental and helpful as a Director of the Chamber of Commerce.  Thank you Frio County for your representation in the Chamber of Commerce.

Past Events

The Chamber of Commerce organized a community event which I feel was very successful, that is, "Breakfast with the Easter Bunny."  This event took place at the First Baptist Church Cotulla, March 24, 2018.  We had at least 70 children and 25 parents attend the function.  We also had the local EMS/Fire Department who helped during the event.  The LaSalle Co. Sheriff's Dept. was also instrumental in making this a success.  A big thanks to all the people and businesses that contributed to this endeavor. Every child was impacted and their lives were touched by the contributions made by the donors.  Every child left with a big smile on their face with their gifts and prizes. I also want to thank Melinda Rheinfelt for her hardwork and dedication to this project. There were other people who generously gave of their time to ensure that this project was a success a big thanks from the Chamber goes out to them.

Eagle Ford Consortium

The Chamber also helped in another event "Eagle Ford Consortium" on March 27, 2018 @ the Alexander Convention Center.  I want to thank the Chamber Manager, Melinda Rheinfelt, Sandra Friesenhahn and Alfredo Gonzales for their involvement in this event.  To the speakers who participated in the consortium: I am indebted to you for your willingness to step up and keep us posted on what has happened to our community since the Eagle Ford Shale began.

Thank you everyone "let's keep the wheels in motion!"
